Welcoming an Autumn Bloom

I was recently asked what it was about Salt Living Linen Bedding & Accessories that I am most proud of and my immediate response was that we have held onto our vision of exclusively sourcing products that have been handmade or designed in Australia. 

It’s an absolute dream to have formed such strong relationships with artists that I’ve so long admired and that Salt Living can be a haven for their bespoke art to be found on the Gold Coast. 

My long-time favourite artistic duo that I will always have in Salt Living are Bonnie Ashely & Neil Downie. Every piece they create comes to life in their Melbourne studio and I’m always thrilled to get my hands on their collections as they are released. 

Their most recent collection is no exception. Entitled Marigold, the colours and textures of this collection are such a welcomed injection of warmth and cozy into our homes as we approach the cooler months. Heavily influenced by the warm colours and organic shapes of both Australia and India, Marigold features a colour palette of natural ochres, saffron, jacaranda lilac and candy pink.

It is so nice to have this beautiful new collection in store and because each item has been handmade and is unique so I would encourage you to pop by our Coolangatta store to view the whole range.

The wonderful organic texture, weight and colours of the textiles that Bonnie & Neil create is something else and once you’ve held them I’m sure you will come to understand my complete infatuation.
